Day 33, Pueblo to Ordway, 50 miles

July 12, 2019
Heat is the word of day for the foreseeable future.   Day started with a trip out US50.  Ugh.  At least there were reasonable shoulders.   Bob and I rode together again today.  We've entered the plains, I guess, because I saw our first corn, and a combine.

Stopped in Olney Springs when some guy started yelling "you want water?".  Turns out he is an artist who wants to have a facility for cyclists.   His artwork is pretty amazing too.  The mayor came over to chat as well.  The only downside was while we chatted and had some water, the tempurature ramped up.

Arrived at a little after noon  with the temp in the high 90s.  Got a room at the Ordway Hotel with air conditioning...
